Italian in Hand app for iPhone and iPad

The app is meant to be a solid introduction to the Italian language with detailed information about the rules and grammar of the language. It is currently made up of 344 lessons, each of which are two pages. The first page has a section of English text and a button to play a recording of the text in Italian. The second page has the text of the recording written out in Italian, a literal word-for-word translation of the Italian into English and a section of commentary about the Italian. There is also a button to play the audio as many times as you would like.

The app contains text and audio from an Italian newspaper and the Italian author Italo Calvino. We hope that if you try it, you will find the format and content useful.
